Crawl Space Insulation
You may not have an attic, so it is not something you have to worry about with getting your home as energy-efficient and promptly insulated. Instead, you have a crawl space. Well, even with a crawl space, you need to make sure that it is also insulated adequately from leaking out your precious heat. Crawl space provides their own challenges but in many ways are similar to the problems you would face with an attic as well. So no matter which you have then you owe it to yourself and others to get the area adequately insulated, and spray foam is the best way forward. Please let us know if you have a crawl space and are worried that it is not insulated to maximize your homes R-value.
The Forgotten Zone
A crawl space by definition is an area that you eternally have to crawl around in since it is too small to stand correctly. These forgotten or hidden areas are often the area to throw away unwanted, or off-season items and many homes had never bothered to insulate them. Sure they can protect your home as a barrier from the weather outside and your preferred climate on the inside, but they also leak precious heat at the same time. Why not make sure that they are doing the best they can be by having us come on in and getting them fully insulated.
Small Area, Bigger Problems
Crawl spaces suffer many of the same issues as an attic can. You use it as a storage space, preventing proper insulation, and it may be the area that houses your pipes, wires, fan exhausts and ducts. However, unlike the ample space of an attic which can be easy to move around in a crawl space is often a tight fit and getting loose-fill or batts into the area can be a challenge in of itself. One excellent way around this is when you go with spray or injection foam insulation. We can spray your entire crawl space area, and the foam will expand into the space allowing your home to have everywhere fully insulated. Your crawl space is a necessity of your home. That is why you need to make sure that it is doing everything that can be doing to keep the climate in your house always perfect.
Able To Handle Oklahoma City’s Require R-Value

However, it is suggested that you should go anywhere up to R49 to maximize your energy usage in your home.
